Nice to Meet You: I’m Sufian Khmous

Hi, I’m Sufian Khmous — a University of Southern California (USC) undergraduate, lifelong ballet dancer, and a Midwestern native who loves teaching and helping others.

Since the age of 7 in a small Kansas town, I’ve been balancing the precision of classical ballet with a love of all things law. I’m now studying at USC with the long-term goal of having a career where I can help bring fairness to others in ways that combine compassion with logic.

Outside the courtroom, I teach ballet to kids and teens — not just to pass on technique, but to show that movement can build confidence, calm the mind, and spark joy. My students know me as the teacher who swaps out classical scores for pop piano remixes and who celebrates their progress as much as their pirouettes.

Whether I’m preparing a mock trial case at an Ivy League school or leading choreography across the studio floor, I bring energy, empathy, and focus to everything I do. I’m excited to continue growing in both arenas — and to help others do the same.

Some might say I also have a sense of humor…connect with me to see if you agree!
